Barrio Neighborhood Planning Committee to Host Homeownership Class

The Barrio Neighborhood Planning Committee is hosting a class to encourage and increase both home ownership and Improvement.

The event, called Home Buyers Bootcamp, will be Thursday, July 7th at 6 pm at the Alamo Center in Amarillo.

The class aims to teach about mortgage financing processes and home ownership tips, as well as resources in the area available to residents.

All adults and children are invited to attend and Spanish interpreters will be available if needed.

There will also be a prize drawing featuring two gas cards valued at $100 each and four tickets to an upcoming Sod Poodles game.
