Barrio Neighborhood Committee to Host Two Day Clean-Up Event

The fall season is right around the corner, and with that comes some necessary fall cleaning. 

Join the Barrio Neighborhood Planning Committee for their 2 Day Fall Clean-Up Friday, September 9th, and Saturday, September 10th at Bowie Middle School. 

Come out for a fun time for a great cause, as the event will start with a cleanup of T-Anchor Lake that Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. 

Cleanup will continue from 9:00 am to noon the next day, as the focus will move to both 7th and 8th-grade outdoor campuses of Bowie. 

Happy State Bank will provide breakfast burritos, donuts, and bottled water, and the TriState Fairgrounds and Rodeo will have plastic gloves for volunteers. 

There will also be a free mobile vaccine clinic for adults, and pets alike on both days.
