(Arlington, TX) — The Cowboys selected Boise State linebacker Leighton Vander Esch with the 19th pick in the NFL Draft on Thursday. Vander Esch finished with 141 tackles, four sacks and two interceptions for Boise State last season. The NFL Draft resumes today with rounds two and three at AT&T Stadium. SMU receiver Courtland Sutton, Texas offensive lineman Connor Williams, and Texas A&M receiver Christian Kirk are local prospects who have a good chance to hear their names called tonight. More than 20-thousand fans were in attendance at AT&T Stadium, breaking a draft record. This is the first time the draft has been held in Dallas.
