Assault Ends In Death And Arrest

The Potter County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated assault that ended in a death Saturday morning.

Deputies were called to a home in the 8000 block of Tipton on the report of an unconscious male. 

During the investigation, it was found that the victim had been in an altercation in the early morning hours with the homeowner. 

The victim, a white male was found to have suffered a possible brain injury as a result of the fight and was transported by ambulance to a hospital in critical condition. 

The homeowner was arrested for Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury and booked into the Potter County Detention Center. 

On Sunday the victim succumbed to his injuries and died.

The investigation is ongoing.
