Arrest Made after Car Drives Through BSA Entrance

Early Saturday morning, police were called to Baptist St. Anthony’s Hospital for a man driving his vehicle into one of the entrances. 

The man, 46-year-old William Cash Love, was detained by hospital security by the time officers arrived. 

He was armed when he entered BSA and was charged with Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon, Unlawfully carrying a weapon in a prohibited place, and Burglary of a building. 

He was found to be in possession of large amounts of cash, and his vehicle was found with narcotics.

The items mentioned were confiscated as evidence and the Amarillo Police Narcotics Unit is investigating this incident along with the DEA and may result in federal charges.
