Area School Districts Take An Extended “Spring Break”

School districts across our area will postpone classes next week.

Five superintendents made the announcement Tuesday evening for Amarillo, Canyon, Bushland, River Road, and Highland Park Independent School Districts  

No cases of COVID-19 have yet been reported among students, faculty or staff, the superintendents chose to take a precautionary approach.

Parents will begin to receive information about at-home learning sometime next week and Amarillo ISD is developing plans to distribute meals to students who need them
