APD Officers Taken to Hospital After Narcotics Exposure

Two Amarillo Police Department officers had to be taken to the hospital Monday morning because of exposure to unknown narcotics.

Officers were called out about a trespass to a motel room in the 34-hundred block of I-40 west.

APD officials say they found a suspect and came into contact with the unknown narcotics in the room.

The incident is still under investigation.
