APD Investigating Two John Stiff Park Robberis
APD responded to a call in the 6000 block of Hillside just before 11 p.m. Tuesday where two females reported they had been robbed minutes earlier at John Stiff Park.
The victims said three males threatened them with guns, demanding the women’s purses and money. After complying, one of the females was then struck in the face with a gun before the suspects fled.
About 40 minutes later, police were called back to John Stiff Park on a second robbery complaint, where a male victim said two males put a gun to his face and demanded his property and when he refused, the two males beat him and fled.
Both incidents are being investigated by the APD Violent Crimes Unit.
