APD Investigating Early Morning Shooting Death

The Amarillo Police Department is investigating the city’s latest homicide.

At 3:35 am on July 28, Officers were called to 3001 Southwest 27th on the report of several shots fired and a subject injured.

Police located 31-year-old Tremain Haynes, deceased in the parking lot after suffering several gunshot wounds to his body.

Mr. Hayne’s next of kin has been notified.
