APD Investigates Murder/Suicide That Kills Four

Amarillo Police are investigating an apparent murder/suicide that took the lives of four Amarillo residents. APD was dispatched after a 911 call to the 3600 block of NE 14th Saturday evening at 6:30pm. Upon arrival, police found inside the home, 33-year old Jessica Rose Olmos, 42-year old Jose David Olmos and two un-named children dead of multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators say that evidence shows, Jose David Olmos shot the other three family members and then turned the gun on himself. The case is being investigated by the Amarillo Police Department Homicide Unit.
