APD Hunt Suspect In Recent Shooting

The Amarillo Police Department is investigating a Monday evening shooting in the area near Interstate 40 and Jackson Street
At 5:23 p.m., APD officers were sent to the incident on the westbound access road of I-40 at Jackson Street where they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
She was taken to a local hospital for treatment and police gathered several shell casings at the scene.
No arrests have been made as police continue to investigate.
