APD Hands Out Awards To Those Who Keep Us Safe
The Amarillo Police Department took time out Wednesday afternoon to honor their own.
Chief Ed Drain handed out awards for life-saving, physical health & wellness and career service.
Chief Drain on the importance of the ceremony.
13-year veteran Corporal Tony Kennedy was presented with an Operations Citation for his part in clearing a homicide and car theft case and he spoke about the camaraderie and teamwork of the APD.
Kennedy had this advice for the youth about his profession.
