APD Captain Arrested

A Captain and 29 year veteran of the Amarillo Police Department has been arrested.
APD Officers arrested Captain Jason Zang on a warrant Friday charges of unlawful disclosure or promotion of intimate visual material.
The 47th District Attorney’s Office accepted the charge after an investigation was led by the Texas Rangers and APD detectives following the original March 7 complaint.
Zang has been placed on administrative leave pending the completion of an internal investigation. He was booked into the Potter County Detention Center.
