APD Called Out To A South Side Shooting

The Amarillo Police Department is reporting a shooting at a home on the south side of the city.

At 4:45 a.m. Police were called to a home near South Travis and Southwest 45th Avenue on reports of several gunshots in the area.

Officers found a home that appeared to have been struck by several gunshots, but there were no injuries reported at the scene.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting and the investigation is ongoing.
