The Amarillo Police Department is announcing one of their own has passed away.
45-year-old Corporal Mike E Sanchez passed away on December 27th due to complications to Covid-19.
Corporal Sanchez graduated from the 74th Amarillo Police Academy on December 2nd, 2005 and served honorably in various positions with his latest assignment as an expert Traffic Crash Investigator.
