Angel Tree’s Kicking Off To Bring Joy This Season

November 20th at Westgate Mall will be the kickoff to the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree campaign.

This is one of their best-known Christmas efforts and reaches over 100,000 children across the panhandle to give presents for Christmas morning.

The kickoff starts at 2 pm and will have food donated by Westgate Mall Chic-fil-a and the Tascosa choir will also perform.

The Angel trees are located in Westgate Mall and will be in all Amarillo Walmarts starting on the 20th.

The trees will have decorated paper angels, each representing a child or senior who may not receive anything this season without the program and the donors who provide.

Volunteers are always needed throughout the season for distributing the donated items, as well as for the other programs the Salvation Army hosts.

You can get more information and volunteer yourself at salvationarmytexas.org/amarillo.
