Amazon Hires While Other Retailers Struggle

Amazon is hiring while most traditional retailers are struggling because of the pandemic.

The New York Times reports the online marketplace filled more than 427-thousand jobs between January and October. It now employs over one-point-two-million globally.

Amazon has seen huge profits with most of the world staying home because of the pandemic. Other big companies are also surviving because of their online efforts.

However, traditional businesses that rely on people being in their stores continue to struggle.
