Amarillo VA Raising Awareness for Military Sexual Assault

The Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center will be hosting a “Chalk the Walk”  event to raise awareness during Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

April 27th from 10am until 2pm Veterans are invited to write or draw supportive messages in front of Building 33 to bring more attention to military sexual trauma.

The VA offers free medical services and treatment to those suffering from military sexual trauma, even if they have not already reported the event.
