Amarillo SWAT Unit Make Arrest Man Involved In February Shooting

The Amarillo SWAT Unit has arrested a man involved in a February shooting.

Police have identified 38 year old Rojelio Reyes as the suspect and Detectives obtained warrants against him for three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

On Wednesday members of the APD SWAT Unit found Reyes at a home near Rule Street and North Nelson.

At the time of the shooting on February 25th, police found a man and two women had been shot inside a home in the 15-hundred block of I-40. Two victims were taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries while the other one was treated at the home for minor injuries.

Police arrested him for his three aggravated assault warrent, a parole violation warrant and a charge of fraudulent use or possession of identifying information. Reyes has been booked into the Potter County Detention Center.
