Amarillo Social Club Robbery

The Amarillo Social Club at 1619 Kentucky Street was robbed late Sunday Night.

Police were called to the robbery at 11:53 p.m. Employees told them that the robbery took place, about an hour earlier.  Police were also told by victims that a man backed a car up to the business, got out, and came into the establishment.

He handed an employee a note, demanding money, pointing a gun at him.

The employee gave up the money and the man went out to the car and drove away.
