Amarillo Set to Vote on Bond Proposals

A series of bonds were put forth recently that would help with infrastructure and other needs for the Amarillo Independent School District.

The first bond proposed, referred to as Bond A, would go to help make improvements on area schools, Bond B for additions to Dick Bivins stadium, Bond C for a new Natatorium and Bond D for better facilities at the four main high schools in the area.

The Chat crew was joined earlier this week by local parent Carmen Fenton who talked about the bonds and just how important they are.

The last day to register to vote in the special election is April 7th.
