Amarillo Seeing Low Unemployment Rates

The Texas Workforce Commission says the Amarillo area recorded the lowest unemployment rate in the state for the month of May.

Still, The TWF says their are still Plenty of jobs employers need to fill. Workforce Solutions officials say Amarillo is still open for business.

They go on to say that they have almost 7-thousand postings in the area and employers are definitely looking to fill those jobs right now.
