Amarillo Public Library Launches New Program With The Amarillo Zoo

The Amarillo Public Library is offering some fun in the sun this summer for families.

The APL is joining with the Amarillo Zoo to launch a new Family Zoo Pass Program. This program will allow families to check out a pass to the zoo at the library just like they would check out a book.

One pass will be available for check out at each of the library’s five locations. The pass gives one family—two adults and up to six children—a one-time free visit to the Zoo.

The passes will be available after a Kickoff Story Time event held at the Downtown Amarillo Public Library on Wednesday, May 29th at 4 p.m.

For more information about this program, contact Stacey Clopton Yates at the Amarillo Public Library or Mike Boley at the Amarillo Zoo.
