Amarillo Native Serves Aboard Navy Warship

Petty Officer 3rd Class Tyler Lamberth, an Amarillo native carries on a proud family tradition of serving in the Navy.

Lamberth, a 2016 graduate of Tascosa High School serves aboard one of the Navy’s most advanced amphibious ships the USS Green Bay as an electronics technician at Fleet Activities Sasebo in Japan.

Both of Lamberth’s parents served in the Navy and he credits his success to lessons learned in Amarillo.

U.S. 7th Fleet spans more than 124 million square kilometers, stretching from the International Date Line to the India/Pakistan border.
