Along with this year’s MLK Day Parade taking place on January 15th, the Amarillo NAACP branch has invited the community also to take part in their first-ever Community Job Fair.
With over twenty-five employers set to be in attendance, they will be conducting on-the-spot interviews for those interested and in need of a job.
The fair will be from 10 am to noon at the Black Historical Cultural Center, located at 901 North Hayden Street.
If you are attending and need help preparing, then you’re in luck because there will also be career prep sessions taking place on Tuesday, January 9th at 6:30 pm.
The sessions will also be at the Cultural Center, where you can ask questions regarding your resume and even conduct mock interviews before the job fair.
