Amarillo Flag Football League to Host Event For Cancer Awareness

Spring is right around the corner, and what better way to enjoy the start of the warmer weather, than with some fun on the gridiron?

The Amarillo Flag Football League is back and will be hosting a fundraiser flag football tournament on Saturday, March 25th, and Sunday, March 26th at Memorial Park.

The games will be split between professional, recreational, and co-ed teams, with proceeds from the event outside of the winners’ prize will go towards cancer awareness and research.

League co-founder Justin Pierson had this to say about why they wanted to make this event for cancer awareness.
