Amarillo Firefighters Beat Down Early Morning Blaze

The Amarillo Fire Department was called to a  fire at 2306 South Mirror Street at 12:30 a.m., Sunday morning, and found heavy fire coming from the rear corner of the structure.

Firefighters knocked down the main body of the fire and were able to get inside to completely put down the blaze by 1 am.

All occupants inside the structure were able to get out before the units arrived and were no injuries reported during the incident.

The fire caused $40,000 worth of damages to the structure and the Fire Marshall’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
