Amarillo Fire Department Responds To Sunday Night Fire At Southwest 5th Avenue and South Bryan Street

Amarillo Fire Department responded to a fire Sunday  at the intersection of Southwest 5th Avenue and South Bryan Street.

Once on scene, crews found a two story home with heavy smoke coming from the attic.

Officials say the homeowners were home at the time and were able to get out.

The fire was brought under control just after 11:20pm with a total of 7 units on scene.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is undetermined.

Damage to the home were appraised at $37,000.
