Amarillo EDC Board Members Approve Incentive Agreement For Local Businesses

The Amarillo Economic Development Corporation Board Members voted to help two local businesses bring in employees.

RCC Brass makes bullet cartridges here and needs highly trained workers with an incentive that could total up to $500,000 over five years.

Tork Worx plans a satellite office here to sell its specialized power wrenches to serve the wind energy industry’s turbines with an incentive that could go up to almost $1 million.

The agreement will still need to be approved by the Amarillo City Council at the next meeting.

Both companies would be paid over time based on performance.
