Amarillo East Library Temporarily Closed

A water line broke in Amarillo and has forced the East Branch of the Amarillo Public Library to close. 

Their doors will remain closed until at least Monday the 14th.

The break was discovered through preliminary building updates for the building’s AC later in December. 

Water is completely shut off in the building until the issues are repaired, which will take several days. 

The library is set to open at noon on the 14, provided the maintenance and safety issues are fully solved.
