Amarillo Crime Stoppers Increases Award For Unsolved Murder

The Amarillo Crime Stoppers have increased the reward in the unsolved murder of Richard Pedraza also know as Richard Garza to .

In December of last year Amarillo Police were called to make a welfare check to Southwest Park.

The caller told police a male was slumped over the wheel of a car.

Officers arrived and found Pedraza dead from apparent gunshot wounds. It was his 30th birthday.

Officials say information has very limited coming in to them about the killing.
