Amarillo City Manager Gets Raise

Amarillo City Manager Jared Miller is getting a $19,000 raise.

The city council held a special meeting Monday to discuss Miller’s “overdue” performance evaluation and employment agreement.

They voted 4-1 to give Miller a 6.5% raise. Councilman Cole Stanley voted against it.

Miller reportedly was making 294-thousand dollars and with the raise he’ll make 311,640 thousand a year.

There is no terms on the contract and can be terminated without cause with a 4 to 1 council voteor a 3-2 clause.
