Amarillo Branch NAACP Providing Meals To Frontline Medical Staff

In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr Holiday, the Amarillo Branch of the NAACP will be hosting the 26th annual National Day of Service in a different way.

Officers and members have partnered with the Potter Randall County Medical Society Alliance to provide meals to frontline medical staff who have served tirelessly and at great risk to themselves throughout the current health crisis.

The Branch said they support and respect other organizations and individuals recognizing Dr. King in their own way and ask that others who would observe the day through service are mindful of their own health and safety as well as that of others.
