AMA-CON Set For The Weekend

Amarillo’s AMA-CON will kick off its eighth convention this weekend at the Amarillo Civic Center.
The event is a celebration of all pop culture.
Cosplaying contests, panels, vendor booths, and gaming tournaments are just a few of the activities that it has to offer.
It is hosted every year by the Friends of the Amarillo Public Library to help raise funds for Library activities.
Doors will open Saturday at 11 a.m. till 7 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
