Alabama Beats Ohio State For CFP National Championship

Alabama is the king of college football. Mac Jones threw five touchdown passes, including three to Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith, as top-ranked ‘Bama beat third-ranked Ohio State 52-24 in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game in Miami. Najee Harris added two scores on the ground and also caught a touchdown as the Crimson Tide finished the season a perfect 13-and-0. Justin Fields threw for 194 yards and a TD for the Buckeyes, who end their season 7-and-1. Master Teague the Third ran for two scores for OSU in defeat. It’s the seventh national title for head coach Nick Saban [[ SAY-bin ]] and his sixth at Alabama. His seven national championships breaks a modern era tie with the legendary Bear Bryant.
