AISD School Board Sets Regular Meeting

A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Amarillo Independent School District will be held on May 21^st.

Agenda items to be discussed include recognizing trustees going off the board, administering the oath of office to declared winners in the May 4^th election.

Consider a request from the NAACP to change the name of Lee Elementary School, as well as consider a board resignation from Trustee John Ben Blanchard.

The meeting will begin at 6:00 PM in the boardroom of the AISD education support center, 7200 I-40 West.
