AFD Responds To Early Morning Fire

Amarillo firefighters have worked a blaze at an abandoned building in the downtown area this morning.
The blaze occurred on the corner of Southwest 10th and south Van Buren Streets.
Power lines are down in the adjacent area, and no injuries have been reported
Earlier this morning, a huge smoke cloud hung over Amarillo as a result of the fire, and
Earlier this month, a large fire was put out at the old Amarillo Globe-News Building, near where the fire occurred.
