AFD Opening The Entrance Exam

The Amarillo Fire Department will be hosting the Civic Service Exam for entrance to the AFD Academy.

The exam is a written test that will be a 100% general aptitude test and will include math, reading comprehension and mechanical questions.

Those who score in the top percentile who then will be asked to schedule and pass a Candidate Physical Ability test, Oral Interview, Background check and a physical and drug screening.

The exam will be at the Amarillo Civic Center South Exhibit Hall entrance 1 and 2 on Saturday February 26th at 9am.

Those who are interested in taking the test will need to be registered by Wednesday February 23rd at 11:59pm.
