AEDC Hosting Virtual State of the Economy

The Amarillo Economic Development Corporation is hosting the Annual State of the Economy virtually this year on Wednesday March 24th.

The event will provide a brief update of Amarillo’s economic outlook and feature a keynote speech by Monica Mehta discussing macroeconomic issues and how they impact our community.

She is a managing principal at Texas-based investment firm, Seventh Capital, and offers 20 years of hands-on experience managing capital and running consumer businesses.

Monica also has written finance columns for The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, INC Magazine, and Entrepreneur Magazine. She also appears regularly on Fox Business, CNN, ABC News, MSNBC, and many other outlets.

The virtual event will be made available on the AEDC’s website at 9am on Wednesday, with a rerun of the event airing on Panhandle PBS at 7:30pm on Thursday.
