The Access Community Credit Union is giving out some money to local organizations in the Panhandle.
The Credit Union is giving away one-thousand dollars to 20 different organizations for a total of 20-thousand dollars.
They’ll be setting up appointments with each group to grant the donations.
By the end of this year, Access will have donated close to 300-thousand dollars back to the Amarillo community since the start of the pandemic.
Some of the organizations that are nominated by staff are the Panhandle Breast Society, Snack Pak 4 kids, and the Guyon Saunders Resource Center.
Social media followers nominated The Hope and Healing Place, Yellow City Community Outreach, and Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
