Texas Governor Greg Abbott is confident the coronavirus vaccine distribution will save lives.
The governor told reporters today Texas will get a weekly allocation of the Pfizer vaccine and later the Moderna version.
The state has gotten 95-thousand doses already with another 129-thousand expected in the next couple days.
He expects more than a million Texans to be inoculated this month while also promising no one would be forced to take it.
Abbott also praised Operation Warp Speed for getting the vaccine out quickly. Healthcare workers along with more vulnerable populations are first in line for the vaccine.
