AAA Weekend Gas Watch

Gas Prices in the State of Texas are 1 cent less this weekend to $1.80 a gallon regular unleaded fuel.

Amarillo is seeing prices down 2 cents per gallon to $1.68.

Of the major metropolitan areas surveyed in Texas, drivers in El Paso are paying the most on average at $2.12 while drivers in Amarillo are paying the least at $1.68 per gallon. 

The national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is $2.12, which is a penny less when compared to this day last week and 47 cents less than the price per gallon at this same time last year.
