Gas prices in the state of Texas are 4 cents less this week to $2.47 a gallon of regular unleaded fuel.
Amarillo is seeing a 5 cent drop this week to $2.33 a gallon which is 25 cents less than this time last year.

Of the major metropolitan areas surveyed in Texas, drivers in Midland are paying the most on average at $2.64 while drivers in McAllen are paying the least at $2.31 per gallon.
