91.1 FM Celebrating 50 Years And A New Format

With Homecoming coming to West Texas A&M University, the celebration is centered around WT Through the decades, the student-led radio station KWTS has had plenty to celebrate for 50 years on the air. 

The noncommercial station is having a celebration for students and station alumni on October 1st from 2 to 6 pm in the Sybil B. Harrington Fine Arts Complex. 

Additionally, the station will be celebrating a format change starting October 1st into an all ‘90s station, featuring pop, rock, country, and anything else from the ’90s.

The day will also feature alumni returning to the studio, and interviews with Dani Morton, the voice of the station, and 2012 graduate.
