Wonderland Celebrates 70 Years!

August 12 was a special celebration for many within the Amarillo area.

Wonderland Amusement Park celebrated their 70th year of serving the area with their rides and fun times.

They held a ceremony at the park, and opened the gates for some late night thrill rides, to express their thanks for the community that has supported them for so long.

Over the 70 years, Wonderland has gone from three kiddie rides to having over 30 rides, attractions, and a Mini Golf course.

This is the last Thursday of the season they will be open, and Labor Day will mark the last day open until next year.
