67 Pounds Of Methamphetamine Seized After Traffic Stop

Over 60 pounds of Methamphetamine was seized after a traffic stop in Carson County.

On June 17th, a DPS Trooper stopped a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe traveling east on I-40 near Groom for a traffic violation.  

The Trooper then discovered plastic-wrapped bundles of methamphetamine inside all four tires.

The driver was arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and was booked to the Randall County Jail.

The drugs were being transported from Las Vegas, Nevada to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
