One of the great summer time traditions in the Texas Panhandle/South Plains is going on Saturday. It is the 46th Annual Nazareth German Festival and Sud & Sounds. This small community that is well known for their girls high school basketball championships will swell to well over 3,000 people. There will be an Arts and Crafts Show, children’s activities, a car show, wine tasting, live music from home-grown talent and of course the German Sausage Dinner serving from 11am-2pm. Cost is $12 for adults and $8 for kids. Take out plates will be available and frozen sausage will be sold. The Suds & Sounds with five Country & Rock bands is Saturday evening at the Nazareth Community Ballpark sponsored by Coors Of Amarillo. Steve Birkenfeld and Bradley Gerber were guests Friday on NewsDay Amarillo with Tim and Kelli. (For More Information-Click The Audio File Below).
