3 G Service On It’s way Out

You will soon have to make some necessary upgrades to your phones and other devices if you don’t want to lose service.

The FCC says mobile providers are shutting down their 3 G networks to make room for more advanced services like 5 G. A T and T is scheduled to shut down its 3 G service by February, T-Mobile shutting down by in March, Sprint’4 G LTE Network By June And T-Mobiles will shut down by July

Verizon is shutting down all its 3 G service by next December.

Once these networks are shut down, all phones using 3 G connectivity will not work.

The shutdown is not limited to just phones, as there are other devices that run on that same connectivity, as well as some security systems.

Experts are encouraging people to check out their devices and become aware of what may work and what will not when these services go down.
