2020 Tri-State Fair & Rodeo Canceled; PRCA Rodeo On Hold

Officials with the Amarillo Tri-State Fair Exposition Executive Board of Directors have announced modifications and cancellations to the 2020 Tri-State Fair & Rodeo.

The board decided to continue with youth market livestock shows, equine shows, bantam shows, and ag mechanics.

Tri-State Fair & Rodeo General Manager Virgil Bartlett says “We, as a board, would like nothing more than to feel that the thing to do is hold the Fair without modifications,” “However, our current circumstances with public health do not allow for that to happen.”

The PRCA Rodeo is on hold for now but Tri-State Exposition officers will meet again on August 3rd in hopes that there can be a reserved-seating diagram for social distancing inside the Amarillo National Center.

The cancellation also includes the parade.
