Two Juveniles Arrested At Travis Middle School
One man is behind bars after attempting to break into a vehicle and then firing shots at the victim
The Amarillo Police Department says that the victim saw someone breaking into their car in the 3100 block of Sequoia Street.
When they confronted the suspect, the suspect fired shots and then ran away.
The victim began following the suspect and a called police dispatch at 4:05 p.m.
Upon arrival, police got into a chase with the suspect and caught him in Thompson Park.
A 17 year old male Xavier Alexander Baca was booked into the Potter County Detention Center for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, and Evading Arrest or Detention.
